Who We Are and What We Do

Since 1984, SCF has helped Saginaw County residents build a better community by linking donor interests with the community's most pressing needs and promising opportunities.

The Saginaw Community Foundation (SCF) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life in Saginaw County. SCF is a unique institution. It is a permanent, yet flexible, collection of endowment funds contributed by people from all walks of life who want to give something back. The principal of these funds remain intact forever, with the income generated annually invested back into the community in the form of grants that tackle today’s needs and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges.

Through partnerships with local nonprofits, we have dedicated ourselves to fulfilling the charitable dreams of our donors, while creating a strong and vibrant community for all people in Saginaw County now and for generations to come.  Contact us to make your charitable contributions last forever.

SCF serves three important constituencies – our donors who want to make a difference, the nonprofit organizations that provide services and programs so essential in our community, and the individual communities within Saginaw County.
