Tax-free gift opportunity may extend to December 31, 2010
The Saginaw Community Foundation is waiting for confirmation on the extension of the IRA Charitable Rollover. If approved, the IRA Rollover will remain in effect until Dec. 31, 2010. The provision would give individuals who are 70½ or older the opportunity to transfer up to $100,000 from an IRA to charity, tax- free. Please check the Saginaw Community Foundation’s Web site for further updates on this charitable opportunity.
