Brian Jackson // Director of Donor Services and Special Initiatives

Brian, who has been at the foundation since 2007, helps people discover giving opportunities and achieve their philanthropic goals. During the day he works with new donors, as well as legal and financial advisors, to explain how SCF can help them  – financially and philanthropically.

 

Brian, an avid baseball fan, is a coach at Saginaw Township South Little League and assistant coach of the MBS Jets Travel Baseball Team. He also is the past president of Kiwanis Club of Saginaw and a lifetime member of the Saginaw County Sports Hall of Fame. Brian also is involved in the Great Lakes Bay Miracle League, 1,000 Leaders and the Mid-Michigan chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

 

Brian is a Saginaw native, having graduated from Arthur Hill High School before earning his bachelor’s degree at Central Michigan University. He has furthered his education through Grand Valley State University’s Nonprofit Leadership Institute and the Fundraising School at Indiana University. He also is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Saginaw. Before coming to the Saginaw Community Foundation, he worked for the Midland Area Community Foundation.
