Special Initiatives

Students Spring into Service 2007

The Saginaw Community Foundation does more than just respond to community needs.  We take a lead role in improving the community of Saginaw County, initiating new programs and convening groups to discuss issues of common concern.

For example, each spring and fall, over 250 students and community volunteers come together for a day of community service in an area of need within Saginaw County.  From senior centers to elementary schools, and city parks to veterans' homes, SCF helps support and sponsor these events along with many other community organizations.
