Connie Kostrzewa-Sivey is known at the Saginaw Community Foundation as a scholarship champion. Her family funds six scholarships for students at Carrollton, Hemlock and Nouvel Catholic Central schools, as well as disadvantaged students in Saginaw County.

“These scholarships were established to carry on the legacy of our parents and other family members, recognizing their appreciation of being the best you can be in the classroom, in the community and in life,” says Connie.

“Establishing a scholarship is a wonderful way to give back to the community and give our young people the opportunity to be recognized for their achievements,” she adds.
