Passing the Leadership Baton

The Council of Michigan Foundations is hosting an event called “Passing the Baton: Effective Nonprofit and Philanthropic Leadership Transitions through Diversity and Inclusion.” This event will be held May 13, 2013 from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at Saginaw Valley State University.

 

Within philanthropy and the nonprofit sector, there exists the need and opportunity to help to create career pipelines for emerging leaders as seasoned leaders transition out of the workplace. This conference will expose participants to rich presentations from seasoned and emerging professionals and will provide an abundance of networking opportunities and invaluable tools and tips to help assist in the process of preparing for and passing on the reigns of leadership within organizations.

 

Fee: $20 registration fee (some scholarships are available; see registration for details). Lunch and networking reception included in registration fee. Parking is free. Bring your business cards!
