We’re collecting unwanted cell phones to benefit Underground Railroad, Inc., which serves victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. The Underground Railroad will receive a contribution for every phone that is recycled by its partner in the program, Shelter Alliance. Some phones bring a return of as much as $30.

You can drop off your unwanted cell phones at the Saginaw Community Foundation, as well as the Bay Area Community Foundation and the Midland Area Community Foundation.

Additionally, Chemical Bank will collect phones at its branch locations in Bay, Midland and Saginaw counties.
