Saginaw Community Foundation Scholarships
2011 SCF Scholarship Recipients

Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. No one realizes that more than all of us at SCF.

Since 1987 when our first scholarship was awarded, we have provided more than $2.3 million to area students to help with the cost of pursuing a post-secondary education. We now administer about 150 scholarships, helping to fulfill the wishes of donors who want to provide financial support to promising students in the Great Lakes Bay Region and throughout Michigan. The purpose of each scholarship is unique. Some are for high school seniors pursuing undergraduate studies, others are for vocational training or graduate school, and yet others are for nontraditional students, perhaps an older woman returning to college.
