Alma Gilmore DoudAlma Gilmore Doud (March 28, 1924 – May 1, 2014), a faithful member of First Congregational Church, dedicated her life to community service. This scholarship is established to remember and honor her and her contributions to the Saginaw community. 

  

 

 

 

Qualifications

● Minimum GPA: 3.0
● Resident of Great Lakes Bay Region (Bay, Midland or Saginaw County)

● Pursuing an undergraduate degree or Career and Techincal Education (CTE) training (skilled trade/vocation)
● Part- or full-time enrollment
● Priority given to First Congregational Church (FCC) member and/or confirmand. Students must demonstrate a connection to FCC
 

Evaluation Criteria

Overall involvement (30); FCC member/confirmand/student demonstrating connection to FCC (30); essay on career goals (20); demonstrated leadership ability (10); letters of recommendation (10)
