Dennis A Miner dedicated his life’s work to children. Dennis began his career in teaching and later served as principal at Shields Elementary School for 36 years until his retirement in 2010. He was deeply respected and admired by colleagues, and his students knew that he cared for each of them. “Denny” will always be remembered for his calm strength, patience, and kindness as an educator. Those qualities live on in all of the students and educators whose lives he impacted.
