Douglas Family Scholarship

In categories: Scholarships

July 13, 2012

Eugene and Audrey Douglas have live in Jackson County most of their lives. Audrey was a very successful business woman in telecommunications and Eugene owned, operated and grew his own trucking company from scratch.

Their son, Craig, occasionally got to drive one of the semi tractors and trailers when he was home on summer break from college. He serves as Carrollton’s superintendent and is appreciative of his parents for their love and support.

The unique criteria for the Douglas Family Scholarship were based upon the partnerships Carrollton has established, with input from Craig and his parents. The strong partnership Carrollton has with Delta College was motivation for the scholarship’s structure.

The Douglas Family Scholarship is available to a Carrollton High School Graduate.
