Ruth Regina Halcli Memorial Scholarship

In categories: Scholarships

August 2, 2012

Ruth was born on Sept. 16, 1920 to Arthur and Lydia Marcoux. She was one of four children. Ruth lived in Saginaw all her life and was employed by Lufkin Rule Company for many years. She was married to Joseph Halcli until 1969.

This scholarship was established by her family to honor a woman who possessed much strength, kindness, beauty and courage. Ruth found great pleasure with the simple things in life and walked daily with the Lord. She dedicated her life to the ones she loved and very generously gave and supported others that were in need.

The Ruth Regina Halcli Memorial Scholarship is offered to encourage the giving of oneself back to the Saginaw Community. We learn from those around us. We teach those who come after us.
