Saginaw Country Club logo-webThe Saginaw Country Club has been one of the premier private clubs in Michigan for over 116 years. In honor of its centennial year in 1998, the Club’s Board of Governors established the Saginaw Country Club Golf Scholarship.

 

The scholarship is offered to promote and reward golf playing among Saginaw County’s youth.

 

  

Qualifications

 

● Minimum 3.0 GPA
● Senior from a Saginaw County high school
● Involvement in golf at the high school and/or competition level
● Attend an accredited college, university, or technical school to pursue a two- or four-year degree
● Full-time enrollment 
 
 

 
 

Evaluation Criteria

Achievement in golf at the high school level and/or in other golf competitions (40); recommendations (20); scholastic record (20); extracurricular activities (10); community activities (10). Finalists may be interviewed based on preliminary scores.
