Shannon came into this world and blessed our lives on February 12, 1980. Her life, and that of her sister’s, was taken by a drunk driver on October 15, 2000, following homecoming at Heritage High School.

Shannon had a zest for living and lived life to the fullest. She was enthusiastic, adventuresome and determined – in everything she did – and wanted to do it all. One of her closest friends said it best when she said Shannon packed more into a day than most people could fit into a week. In her short life, she was able to water and downhill ski, scuba dive and hang glide. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, musicals and plays, camping, traveling, museums and more.

Shannon loved being a student at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. She was hoping to study law at Harvard, with the dream of some day becoming a prosecutor or a Supreme Court justice. Shannon loved her family and was a loyal, giving and trusted friend. Her younger brother and little sisters meant the world to her and her last day on Earth was spent with her family. Those who loved her will always carry her in their hearts, never to be forgotten.
