Dr. Economou dedicated his professional life to public education in Saginaw and surrounding districts as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, assistant superintendent, and athletic director. He was deeply committed to mentoring students beyond the classroom, supporting them throughout high school and into their college journeys. His influence extended across academics, athletics, and community involvement, reflecting his belief in developing well-rounded students.

This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to both academics and extracurricular involvement.
