Grant Resource Center

The Grant Resource Center at Hoyt Public Library serves the needs of area nonprofits that are seeking new sources of funding. The center is a cooperative project of the Saginaw Community Foundation and the Foundation Center, the nation’s leading authority on grantmakers and grants.

The center offers the Foundation Directory Online, a fully searchable database that includes detailed information on grants, grant recipients, grantmakers and searchable 990’s. It also includes information on more than 80,000 foundations and core reference materials on grants, proposal writing, nonprofit management and current trends in philanthropy.

The Foundation Directory Online and a companion database, Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, can only be accessed at Hoyt Public Library. Organizations or agencies that would like an orientation can call (989) 755-9822. The Saginaw Community Foundation also has a hardcopy of the Foundation Directory.
