During our 2015 Annual Celebration on Tuesday, June 9 at Thomas Township Trailhead Pavilion, we announced the 2015 Community Improvement Initiative grant recipient. $25,000 was awarded to New Beginnings Enrichment Center “One Week, One Street” program. An estimated crowd of 275 people were in attendance.

The grant will help New Beginnings Enrichment Center continue improvements to a neighborhood enrichment center located within its One Week, One Street program area. The enrichment center will impact approximately 800 neighborhood residents allowing for activities like reliable internet access, classes, trainings, seminars, workshops and also provide a safe and supervised place for students to go after school.

Community Improvement Initiative grant recipients are eligible to receive an additional $5,000 if the recipient matches the $25,000 grant.
