Dan Liebrock Basketball Scholarship

In categories: Scholarships

December 5, 2022

In early February 2022, our family and community tragically lost an incredible man who was not only an athletic, school and community supporter, but a man who encouraged and aided in the growth and development of athletes of all ages. For nearly 30 years, Dan Liebrock supported and mentored Hemlock athletes in soccer, t-ball, baseball and football. However, his true passion was mentoring and coaching basketball. Dan positively impacted many youth over the years. He was that person who saw each player as their own unique self – recognizing how to strengthen them fundamentally as well as mentally.

As the ball was thrown around the gym, players were changed!

Changed to believe in themselves.

Changed to work together.

Changed not only to celebrate the victories, but to celebrate and learn from the losses.

He was that stranger who became a mentor and changed lives for the better!
