July 24, 2012

The Flegenheimer Family Scholarship was created in 1998 to give Saginaw County students the opportunity to further their education. It is hoped this scholarship will allow students to become better prepared for the future. The scholarship was established by Marjorie and Ernest Flegenheimer in recognition of the importance of education and the difference it can make in a young person’s life.

Marjorie and Ernest Flegenheimer, Saginaw residents for more than 45 years, believe strongly in the merits of higher education – a philosophy they instilled in their four children. It is their hope that this scholarship will nurture a love of lifelong learning in its recipients.
