Hemlock Semiconductor

As part of its goal to improve the quality of life throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region, Hemlock Semiconductor Operation’s new Community and Regional Empowerment (CARE) Fund is providing up to $30,000 for local projects and programs.

Schools, units of government and local groups with 501(c)(3) designation will be able to apply for grants through the Saginaw Community Foundation. Applicants can receive up to $10,000 in funding for local programs, and up to $30,000 for regional programs. The CARE program will offer additional grant opportunities each year.

Grants will be provided to projects that align with HSC’s mission to improve the vitality and quality of life in communities where employees and their families work and play, supporting various projects and local programs.

Before starting your application, a brief overview of the applicant’s proposed project must be provided to Kendra Kempf at the Saginaw Community Foundation by emailing kendra@saginawfoundation.org. After eligibility is determined, a grant application number will be assigned and emailed to the applicant along with the Hemlock Semiconductor Community and Regional Empowerment Fund grant application.
