Jack Foote was born and raised in Saginaw, Mich. In 1951, he graduated from Arthur Hill High School. He later married Bonnie Wiltse to whom he was married for 60 years. Together they have two sons (John and Bill), seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

 

Jack lived his life mentoring young people, many of who referred to him as “Uncle Jack”. He helped guide them through his wisdom to realize their dreams and potential.

 

 

 

Qualifications

● Graduating high school seniors from Swan Valley High School
● Full-time enrollment
● Pursuing undergraduate degree or Career and Techincal Education (CTE) training (skilled trade/vocation)
● Student diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes
● Special essay about how having juvenile diabetes affects applicants life

Evaluation Criteria

Special essay (40); citizenship/character (30); overall involvement (15); essay on career goals (15)
