The Saginaw Education Association, the teachers’ union for the Saginaw Public Schools, was established to represent the 700 teachers within the City of Saginaw and to enhance the education of the community’s children.  The Saginaw Education Association Member Scholarship was initiated to give its members’ children the opportunity to further their education, regardless of their field of study.

 

 

 

  

 

Qualifications

● Minimum 3.0 GPA
● Parent or legal guardian must be a current member of the Saginaw Education Association
● High school senior
● Pursuing an undergraduate (bachelor) degree
● Full-time enrollment
 

 

 
 

 

Evaluation Criteria

Scholastic record (25); essay (25); leadership (20); community and/or school activities (20); recommendations (10).
