Qualifications
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Resident of Saginaw County
• Graduate of Birch Run High School, Bridgeport High School, or Frankenmuth High School (1st preference); any other high school in Saginaw County (2nd preference)
• Part- or full-time enrollment
• Pursuing undergraduate degree or Career and Technical Education (CTE) training (vocational)
Evaluation Criteria
Special skills/ability(woodshop/metalshop interest, any robotics or similar organization) (20); other criteria (metalshop classes or career center/college machining courses) (20); essay on career goals (20); work experience (10); overall involvement (10); letters of recommendation (10); academic performance (5); leadership (5)
